Having received a diploma in Art from Liceo Artistico Arturo Martini in Savona, Italy, Raffaella Bertolini now calls London her home. From here she has gained a deserved reputation as a highly skilled contemporary artist with an avid following of collectors.
Raffaella is a storyteller. Her work is fed by her lifelong passion and ambition for creative expression and refuses to be limited by conformity. Often incorporating popular culture and iconic figures, Raffaella’s art is often edgy, sometimes melancholic, but always beautiful.
She incorporates elements of her various muses, which lately come from urban/street art. In her urban and mixed-media paintings, as well as in her beautifully detailed drawings, she explores themes of sensuality, humour, religion, and mental health.
Her work has been exhibited at numerous galleries in the UK and the US and can be found in private collections across Europe, Australia, USA and Japan.
